Admissions

Students interested in the Multimedia Studies program are encouraged to apply during their Spring semester of their freshman year. Students can also be accepted in the Fall session of their sophomore. Transfer students and those who are middlers or above are encouraged to speak with their academic advisor about their options.

To apply to the program, students must have a 3.0 QPA. They must have completed or be currently enrolled in all of the required freshman courses for their home major. In addition, the admission committee requires a statement of interest that should explain why are you interested in pursuing this major, and what do you see as the strengths you bring to a team-based program. Students are also asked to submit a portfolio of work and/or participate in an interview with the admission committee.

Once accepted into the program, students are required to maintain a 3.0 QPA in their Multimedia Studies courses to remain majors in good standing.
