Facilities

The Multimedia Studies program has a dedicated lab and presentation facility in Ryder 324, where all aspects of media - video, audio, animation, text and image - come together. The platform is Apple Mac Pro desktops, running both OS X and Windows operating systems. All desktops are connected via fast Ethernet. The lab also supports wireless connection.

The lab contains Adobe CS software (currently all CS3), as well as Adobe After Effects Professional and Flash Professional. It is also equipped with a rendering server and video processing hardware. All lab software is maintained at current release levels.

In addition, Multimedia students have access to the hardware and peripherals in the allied departments of Art+Design, Music and Computer Science.
